Submit your wishlist to Avo Frosto below. It may be as long, short, detailed, or vague as you desire, and remember, just because you request something doesn't automatically mean you will get it. Avo Frosto will do their best to give everyone something they will enjoy. Also, be sure to include your discord and/or lab name so Avo Frosto knows where to send the gifts.

OUTPOST #1 – BULLETIN #131
PRIORITY: URGENT
PURPLOSE: ANNOUNCEMENT:
SUBJECT: NEW SPECIES DISCOVERED

Attention all scientists!

First, this is a reminder for all to be vigilant about the creatures we keep housed together, especially over long periods of time. While it may seem beneficial for resource management, there is always the chance that animals may behave differently when contained with other species. Obviously, this can potentially lead to disastrous results and should be approached with caution.

Second, as we are all aware, certain species will crossbreed when left in captivity with one another. More often than not, this simply leads to offspring that are genetically one species or the other. Up until now, we have only seen one case of true hybridization, in the Alsalto family.

However, upon returning from one of her latest expeditions, Iris Evada has discovered a new species as the result of housing two interbreedable species together. Dubbed Tonblekos, these amphibians are genetically and behaviorally dissimilar enough from their parent species to be considered something all their own. She immediately returned to the field, searching for evidence of these hybrids in the wild, and found a local colony not far from a remote estuary recently investigated by Agnes Schnani. Iris Evada is now preparing for a longer expedition to study this colony.

Since this species is so new, there is little information about them. Please do not hesitate to bring any information you learn to Iris Evada, as she has been compiling information about these creatures.

OUTPOST #1 – BULLETIN #127

PRIORITY: URGENT

PURPOSE: ANNOUNCEMENT

SUBJECT: NEW SPECIES DISCOVERED

Attention all scientists!

FOUR new species have been released to the cupboard today! The genetic data for these species, as well as the others we have discovered so far, will be sent to Outpost #3 as well as part of our project to facilitate the sharing of scientific knowledge between our two outposts.

Speaking of Outpost #3, we are close to being ready for an expedition to visit it in person! If you are interested in participating, information has been posted on the bulletin board.

As always, we look forward to seeing what new discoveries are at hand regarding these new creatures!

not a click thread, please post in The Click Thread if you would like clicks on your creatures.

since we now have quite a few species on TFO I thought it would be better to have one single thread for showing them off. this way some species won't have their show off thread getting buried/lost/being difficult to find or duplicates being made as a result. the individual threads will be locked, but still there should people want to look at them.

this thread works the same as the old individual show off threads, just all species in one place instead.

so go on ahead and post all your favourite creatures here for us all to stare at, new and old. :D

please don't post any new releases here until 2 weeks after the news post in which they were announced, your post will be edited to remove the new release if it contains one before then. thank you. <3

OUTPOST #1 – BULLETIN #113
PRIORITY: URGENT
PURPOSE: ANNOUNCEMENT
SUBJECT: NEW SPECIES DISCOVERED

Attention all scientists!

The discovery of two new species is being announced today! The first is a species discovered by Agnes Schnani during a recent research trip to study a new herd of Avka Felos. As it is her first solo discovery, Agnes is very excited to share her findings, and she has requested that any new data be sent to her lab immediately to be compiled with her own notes and observations. A full report on the new creature will be forthcoming.

The second creature was first recorded by Ryan W. Vernon, who enlisted the aid of Coral M. Mui to mount a deeper expedition into the southern rainforest. Their joint efforts have resulted in a comprehensive cataloging of the Koleratakos, a species as vibrant as it is loud.

With the distribution of these two new capsules, we hope that more insights into the species’ behaviors and life cycles will be forthcoming. Thank you as always for your hard work!

These will flood for 48 hours before becoming permanent additions to the site.
