New Species Discovered
#1
OUTPOST #1 – BULLETIN #197
PRIORITY: URGENT
PURPOSE: ANNOUNCEMENT
SUBJECT: NEW SPECIES DISCOVERED

Attention all scientists!

Thank you all for your patience as we've worked on fixing system errors and any other issues that have cropped up from the recent optimizations. Although we're still sorting out some bugs here and there, the general systems seem to be adequately functional.

With that in mind, we've taken this opportunity to stock the cupboard with a brand-new capsule! Emelia Wirt recently returned from a summertime seaside expedition, bringing with her a new species for us to study. If you should choose to work with this aquatic creature, please submit any new data to her lab or Sherman Kamada's, as Sherman accompanied her on this expedition and is assisting in data compilation and further research.

(As a side note, I am sure we are all grateful for Sherman's return. His brief absence due to assisting Emelia on the expedition was perhaps most felt in the recent monotony of meals in the cafeteria, which we hope will improve now that he's back!)

The snout makes me think of a seahorse, so I guess an eel-seahorse hybrid?

Anyway, looks cute, excited to see what it becomes!
