RE: Community Massbreeds - Buer - 05-13-2021

Posting on behalf of somebody:

I'd like to propose a massbreed!
Species: Any Alsaltos (Transira, Klara, Glacia)
Date: May 14-- tomorrow!

As we are seeing increased creatures being released in the world of TFO, I have condensed the massbreed conservation days list to specifically only world or international holidays. I also removed the species/rarity index as it was feeling cluttered. Happy for any feedback, or to include other holidays for massbreeding! ^.^

I also included some of the daily massbreeds that I have seen being done in the discord.

RE: Community Massbreeds - Namira - 10-14-2021

I'd like to propose a massbreed!
Species: Arbara Krono (ideally aiming for zebra-patterned ones)
Date: May 1
Reason or Holiday: May is Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (and hypermobility spectrum disorder) awareness month.

EDS is a disabling, painful connective tissue disorder that is unfortunately is not well-known by the public or even by many non-specialist doctors, despite the impact it has on people who have it. It takes ages to diagnose because not enough doctors know about it and there are so few specialists who specialize in it. I speak from experience when I say that it is excruciatingly painful, exhausting, disabling, and only gets worse with age. Zebras are the symbol for EDS, from that outdated medical mantra that goes something like "when you hear hoofbeats, expect to see horses rather than zebras." EDS is a "zebra diagnosis" because it's commonly misdiagnosed or patients are dismissed entirely because doctors expect the patient to have a common, less severe condition. EDS awareness month is to increase awareness of this condition and to hopefully find better care and treatments for people who have it.

I have added the massbreed information to the post, Namira ^.^
