essentially, though, what kind of weird cupboard incidents have you gotten entangled in?

First of all, I thought.. what if girafos had a normal amount of legs?


and then I also made a version with many more legs


then, in an attempt to make it look more like a giraffe, I extended the 4-legged version's neck


and I extended it more


so then I thought.. what if only 2 legs? I accidentally used the extended neck version, but I think it just gives it a little extra ya know


then I removed the neck entirely


people in the discord were talking about geese and moas now, so I made a version that looked a little more like them..


I used my own 2 girafos for this. I'm so sorry, my precious babies, but also I'm totally not sorry.

Many of you have asked for this and we are excited to announce that you can now use the predictor tool in a creature’s lab notes to view different combinations of genes.  Have fun!  

P.S. you may need to clear your browses cache for the tool to start working.

As many of you have noticed, TFO is growing and as a result the tiny server we have been using for beta has been struggling to keep up.  As a result many of us have been experiencing frustrating insufficient resources/storage errors and unacceptable load times.

We will be migrating servers in the next few days. The exact time is still up in the air as it is dependent on how quickly the new host sets us up.  The length of the migration is also dependent on how long it takes to move the data and how long the name servers take to update.  I will make a new post on our social media and discord when the migration starts.  Unfortunately, due to the nature of server migration downtime will happen and it may be prolonged.  No game data will be lost.  Status updates will be provided via social media and discord (links below).

Within the Outpost, a Lab with a desk covered in notes can be found. These notes can be added to by any other scientist within the Outpost, but the addition of new notes for new creatures is gradual.
Initially messy, these notes are eventually sorted whenever there are no visitors.

Although this Lab seems to lack a scientist, information about the occupant and their creatures can be found within a more tidy place. However, it appears to be incomplete.

Once it is lifted, the way to sort this mess of information lies beneath it, but it appears incomplete as well.

OUTPOST #1 – BULLETIN #79
PRIORITY: URGENT
PURPOSE: ANNOUNCEMENT
SUBJECT: NEW SPECIES DISCOVERED

Attention all scientists!

While on a sailing trip along the coast of the nearby Ovid Sea, Iris Evada discovered a prevalent ocean-dwelling species she has dubbed Limaka Cevalo. Although enamored with the small creatures, which don’t grow more than a foot in length, she has returned to the outpost for a time to submit a report on her findings as well as some geographical survey data. The report, along with its colorful appendix of photographs, is available upon request.

Iris Evada will be heading out on another exploration soon, but while she is here, do stop by her lab for a chat as well as tips regarding Limaka Cevalo care and handling. They are a rather diverse species, and Iris believes we have much to learn from studying their behavior.
